FDI Screening Statistics

The ISP quarterly publishes statistics on notified investments under The Screening of Foreign Direct Investment Act (2023:560). The FDI Screening Act entered into force on the 1 December 2023. Statistics for the first quarter of 2025 will be published here on 15 April 2025.

During the reporting period from 1 December 2023 – 1 December 2024:

  • The ISP has received 1,377 notifications.
  • The ISP has left 1,125 notifications without action (Section 19 of the FDI Screening Act).
  • ​​The ISP has initiated in-depth screening in 26 cases (Section 14 of the FDI Screening Act).
  • The ISP has authorised 12 investments following screening (Section 21 paragraph 1 of the FDI Screening Act).
  • The ISP has authorised 5 notifications with conditions (Section 21 paragraph 2 of the FDI Screening Act).
  • The ISP has prohibited 1 investment (Section 20 of the FDI Screening Act).
